In this role, you will streamline developer workflows and deployment infrastructure for complex automotive systems. You'll identify friction points to improve velocity and reliability, building robust Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) validation pipelines and leveraging cloud-based CI/CD to evolve tooling and automation platforms necessary for scaling modern embedded software development across the entire lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for the engineering team
- Develop and evolve CI/CD pipelines for embedded and automotive software, including SIL and HIL test environments
- Build and test scalable tools for deploying to various automotive and cloud platforms
- Optimize compile/build times using tools like Bazel, CMake, and Docker
- Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
- Identify and solve bottlenecks within the software stack
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin
- Automotive industry experience
- Proficiency with CI/build/deployment technologies (Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- Experience with embedded systems, automotive simulation, or xIL testing
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and automotive toolchains (dSPACE VEOS/ControlDesk, ETAS, Vector)
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and AUTOSAR architectures
- Linux and/or ARM systems experience
Nice-to-have skills include C/C++, experience in related industries, and cloud deployment (AWS) or on-premise cluster experience.
Applied Intuition is headquartered in Sunnyvale with offices globally including Munich. The company operates primarily in-office (5 days/week) with flexibility for occasional remote work.
