This Software Engineer role focuses on improving developer experience and deployment processes across the engineering organization. You will design and build tools, libraries, and frameworks that uplevel velocity and reliability across the entire software and automotive development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for engineering teams
- Build and test scalable deployment tools for automotive and cloud platforms
- Optimize compile/build times using Bazel, CMake, Docker, and related technologies
- Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
- Identify and solve bottlenecks within the software stack
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience (or exceptional new graduate)
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
- Experience with CI/CD, build, and deployment technologies (Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- Comfort with scripting and automation
- Linux and/or ARM systems experience
- Configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Nice-to-have skills include C/C++, automotive industry experience, and public cloud or on-premise deployment experience.
Applied Intuition is an in-office company with expectations of 5 days/week in the Stuttgart office, though occasional flexibility is available.
