Graphcore is seeking a Software Engineer to build framework support that helps AI developers unlock Graphcore hardware accelerators. You will work on the Triton team, designing, implementing, and optimizing critical software that enables state-of-the-art ML frameworks—including Triton and PyTorch—to work seamlessly with Graphcore hardware.
Reporting to a Team Lead in Frameworks, you will have deep technical ownership over features, code reviews, technical documentation, and collaboration with upstream open-source communities. Your work will directly shape how researchers and engineers use Graphcore hardware for demanding machine learning workloads, improving performance, quality, and usability across a complex software stack.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing framework support features for Triton and other ML frameworks
- Optimizing performance and quality across the software stack
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation
- Collaborating with upstream communities and cross-team technical coordination
- Contributing to code reviews and technical leadership within the team
- Managing complex technical tasks with cross-team dependencies
You will join the Frameworks team, which connects Graphcore hardware with tools ML engineers and researchers rely on, including PyTorch, Triton, JAX, and TensorFlow. The team operates through agile practices, close technical discussion, and clear ownership. Engineers are trusted to solve hard problems and move work forward with pace, with decisions shaped by evidence, code quality, and business outcomes.
