Graphcore is seeking a Software Engineer to build framework support that enables AI developers to unlock Graphcore hardware capabilities. You will work on the Triton team, designing, implementing, and optimizing critical software that helps state-of-the-art ML frameworks (Triton, PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow) integrate seamlessly with Graphcore accelerators.
Reporting to a Team Lead in Frameworks, you will have deep technical ownership over features, code reviews, technical documentation, and collaboration with upstream open-source communities. Your work will directly shape how researchers and engineers use Graphcore hardware for demanding machine learning workloads, improving performance, quality, and usability across a complex software stack.
The Frameworks team connects Graphcore hardware with the tools ML engineers and researchers rely on daily. Work happens through agile practices, close technical discussion, and clear ownership. You will collaborate across Graphcore teams and with external open-source communities to deliver trusted software.
Required skills include strong software engineering fundamentals with judgment around quality and technical debt; experience developing in Python and C++; compiler development experience; ability to manage complex technical tasks with cross-team dependencies; clear communication and proactive collaboration; and genuine interest in AI, ML frameworks, performance optimization, or computationally intensive engineering.
