Salary: USD 150,000 - 250,000 / annual
Aptos Labs is seeking a Software Engineer to build experimental trading products on the Aptos blockchain, a people-first blockchain focused on universal access to decentralized assets. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility where you'll help shape technical direction and may grow into leading other engineers as the team scales.
You'll work in a lean, autonomous team environment building products from scratch and learning from real-world usage. The role emphasizes fast iteration, experimentation, and self-directed work in a dynamic setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and experimenting with trading products for the Aptos blockchain
- Developing scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines for trading data access
- Building and maintaining trading infrastructure
- Writing clean, performant, well-tested, production-ready code
- Collaborating with protocol engineers, infrastructure teams, and product engineers
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping products
- Strong experience with TypeScript or similar languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments
- Comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality
Preferred experience includes background in payments, DeFi, TradFi, blockchain, or Web3.
