Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

As a Software Engineer, you will solve diverse problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, and robotics while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs. You will ensure Anduril products work seamlessly together to achieve critical outcomes. The role emphasizes a "Whatever It Takes" mindset—executing in an expedient, scalable, and pragmatic manner while keeping the mission top-of-mind and delivering high-quality results on time. Key responsibilities include: - Owning software solutions deployed to customers - Writing code to improve products and scale mission capability to additional customers - Collaborating across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality - Creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring - Triaging issues, root-causing failures, and coordinating next steps - Partnering with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints - Traveling up to 50% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world, with significant travel to Asia Pacific REQUIREMENTS: - Must be willing to travel up to 50% to Asia Pacific - Fluent Mandarin language skills (required) - Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics - Experience with multiple programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Python - Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular - Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis - Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases - Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - 4+ years of professional industry experience - Experience developing software/hardware for safety-critical functionality - Knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards
