As a Software Engineer on the Storage team, you will own and evolve the storage layer powering Glean's highly available, performant, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure. This is a critical component handling sensitive enterprise data including documents, permission hierarchies, user behavioral signals, and real-time query path data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning storage systems from architecture through production launch
- Designing and implementing robust, well-tested infrastructure code
- Delivering uptime guarantees, autoscaling, and reliable monitoring across multiple cloud providers
- Abstracting cloud differences and building self-healing systems to reduce manual intervention
- Collaborating with multiple teams to support their storage workloads
- Enabling Glean's scale to support millions of searches, chat interactions, and agent workflows
You'll work on systems that directly impact how organizations discover and act on critical knowledge, with measurable business impact through faster onboarding and productivity gains. The role requires strong infrastructure engineering fundamentals, experience with distributed systems, and a commitment to operational excellence.
