Applied Intuition is a $15B-valued AI infrastructure company powering autonomous vehicles and machines across automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining, and agriculture. The Stack Tooling team builds software infrastructure to help engineering teams test, analyze failures, and deploy autonomy systems faster.
In this role, you'll execute cross-functional projects supporting autonomy developers, systems engineers, and release teams. Your work will span multiple autonomy verticals—changes you make for trucking systems can scale to cars and offroad vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Unifying simulation interfaces across different autonomy domains
- Integrating neural rendering simulation software to enable dynamic, realistic environments
- Enhancing hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation testing to match real-world conditions
- Stabilizing and scaling code deployment and vehicle pre-checks to reduce operational idle time
- Refactoring complex mapping workflows into streamlined pipelines
- Integrating perception snapshots into simulation to improve resimulation fidelity
You'll need a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field, plus 3+ years shipping production-grade code. Strong C++ fundamentals are essential, along with experience maintaining critical developer tooling infrastructure and cloud infrastructure management.
Nice-to-haves include a Master's in Robotics, experience with data pipelining, simulation tooling, perception/planning/controls work, or background with automotive OEMs and autonomous vehicle platforms.
Applied Intuition is headquartered in Sunnyvale with offices globally. The company expects full-time employees to work in-office 5 days/week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments.
