As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of software solutions and make informed decisions about project priorities aligned with product roadmap and strategy. You'll be involved from the earliest stages of product ideation and development, taking initiative on product discovery and refinement sessions. Your responsibilities include problem analysis, solution and architecture design, delivering high-quality code with thorough documentation, and ensuring smooth deployment across the platform.
You'll work across a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and other functional teams. The role demands strong communication skills and the ability to determine team objectives and priorities while maintaining focus on results and impact.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, and at least 4 years of professional software development experience shipping production code. You should be fluent in one or more backend languages (Python, Node.js, Java, or C/C++), with experience building, testing, and deploying microservices. Experience with distributed systems development, AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and container orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes) is highly valued. Interest or hands-on experience with modern generative AI technologies, including large language models, is a plus. Next.js and React experience are also beneficial.
