Immersve is a global Mastercard issuer partnering with crypto and fintech companies to issue Mastercard cards backed by on-chain funds. This enables cardholders to make real-world purchases using blockchain-backed wallets. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design and develop APIs, UIs, infrastructure-as-code, and automated tests. You'll work with an experienced, collaborative team in a remote-first environment headquartered in Auckland, NZ. Key aspects of the role include:
• Full CI/CD pipeline with multiple daily production deploys from day one
• Contribute across the entire product lifecycle—from initial design through roadmap scoping and delivery

You are comfortable full-stack—from cloud infrastructure and databases to APIs. While you may not know the entire tech stack, you are eager to learn. Exposure to or curiosity about blockchain and smart contract development is valuable. You embrace continuous delivery: working in small batches, verifying correctness at each step. You contribute to high-level technical designs and mentor others.
Tech Stack: NodeJS, Typescript, Hapi, Cucumber, AWS, EKS, Terraform, DynamoDB, MacOS, Linux.

Application Process: Three interviews plus one coding task. First is a general interview, followed by the coding task. The second interview is technical, reviewing your code and discussing technical questions. The third is a team meeting with colleagues you'll work with.
Requirements:
• Full-stack software development experience
• Proficiency in or willingness to learn NodeJS, Typescript, and related technologies
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Strong coding fundamentals and focus on code quality
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable with continuous delivery and CI/CD practices
• Experience or curiosity about blockchain/smart contracts is a plus
• Mentoring capability and collaborative mindset
