Clear Street is a fintech platform providing sophisticated investors unified access to multiple asset classes and markets through a modern, cloud-native capital markets infrastructure. The Regulatory Reporting Engineering team is responsible for automating compliance and finance regulatory processes, ensuring the firm meets all financial and regulatory obligations.
In this role, you will serve as a technical lead on the Regulatory Reporting Engineering team, playing an integral part in automating compliance and finance workflows. You will build solutions that process large volumes of data from the data warehouse to generate accurate regulatory reporting and reconciliations. Your responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders across Compliance, Finance, and Treasury to translate regulatory and financial obligations into scalable technical solutions. As tech lead, you will provide technical guidance, prioritize work, perform hands-on design and development, conduct code reviews, and establish technical standards and best practices for the team.
The tech stack includes Python, SQL, Snowflake, Retool, Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, Metaplane, and REST APIs. You will work in a hybrid environment, required to be in the London office a minimum of three days per week.

**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of software design and development experience, including CI/CD, source code control, testing, and quality management
- High proficiency in Python, SQL, and database design
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses like Snowflake to build complex solutions at scale
- Self-starter with sense of urgency and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to troubleshoot, logically assess problems, and determine solutions
**Bonus Qualifications:**
- Experience in post-trade automation, designing and architecting systems for complex data problems
- Experience generating complex financial regulatory reports (EMIR, MFID, SFTR, CPR, K Factor, etc.)
