In this role, you will develop and evolve features for the Frenet mobile application using React Native, and build and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js. You'll integrate applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring efficient and secure communication between systems. You'll participate in end-to-end solution development, from frontend implementation through backend integration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain mobile and web applications using React Native, React.js, and Next.js
- Integrate applications with APIs and backend services
- Participate in end-to-end development from frontend to backend integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across application layers
- Ensure engineering standards through testing, code review, documentation, and best practices
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and technical teams to understand needs and deliver quality solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, maintainability, and user experience
- Work with existing codebases, understanding architecture and patterns to implement new features consistently
The company offers 100% remote work with flexible hours (core hours Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 CST Mexico, with flexibility during new releases). Positions are based in Argentina or Colombia, with professional growth and development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid production experience developing applications with React Native
- Solid experience with React.js
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience working with APIs and system integration
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues end-to-end
- Experience with Git and code review collaboration workflows
- Ability to work with existing codebases and adapt to different architectures and technologies
- Self-directed learner with initiative to investigate, learn new technologies, and solve technical problems
- Desirable: Advanced/native Portuguese; experience with ASP.NET / .NET for end-to-end development with frontend
