The Software Platform Foundations team builds foundational systems that empower engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge defense technology with efficiency and reliability.
As a Software Engineer, Quality Integration, you will ensure the quality, traceability, and rapid deployment of software solutions across Lattice OS, Anduril's AI-powered operating system. You'll work within a complex ecosystem spanning multi-stage release pipelines, cloud environments, and robot systems where engineering decisions have concrete, measurable consequences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Authoring and executing test plans against active Lattice release branches, combining manual testing where appropriate with automated test suites
- Building and extending automated systems for development, verification, and release that maintain quality standards across all Software Platform services
- Developing and maintaining reference environments (Cloud, Robot, NixOS VM) that are available, representative, and trustable
- Implementing software interfaces, keyword libraries, and product hooks enabling seamless end-to-end testing across complex systems
- Maintaining and improving integration of regression and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions before customer release
- Implementing AI-enabled automation for failure triage, remediation suggestions, and test generation
- Onboarding Software Platform services onto the Integrated Continuous Release (ICR) pipeline
- Raising engineering hygiene standards through code review, documentation, and clear, debuggable tests
