Salary: PLN 28,300 - 46,600 / monthly
Revolut is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join its AI team and build the MLOps platform that powers the company's machine learning infrastructure. You'll design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and tooling supporting the AI lifecycle and GPU-based workloads across a heavily regulated financial system serving 75+ million customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and operating scalable backend systems in production (Linux, Kubernetes, containerized workloads) using Python
- Profiling and optimizing model training and inference workloads with PyTorch, focusing on latency, throughput, and stability
- Improving GPU compute utilization, memory consumption, and bandwidth in shared, multi-tenant, multi-node environments
- Implementing mixed-precision execution, quantization, efficient batching, gradient accumulation, and memory-efficient attention mechanisms
- Creating benchmarking practices, automated regression tests, and guiding engineering teams on execution frameworks and GPU selection
Required qualifications:
- Proven track record designing and operating scalable backend systems in production environments
- Experience running, profiling, and optimizing machine learning workloads on NVIDIA GPUs (PyTorch or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of GPU execution concepts: memory hierarchy, CPU/GPU synchronization, host-to-device transfers, CUDA stream behavior
- Familiarity with multi-GPU communication (NCCL), data/tensor parallelism, and Kubernetes resource allocation
- STEM degree (or equivalent) with strong computer science fundamentals, testing, observability, and operational ownership
