They've scaled to 130+ employees across NYC and Santa Barbara offices, growing 10x in 2025.
In this Software Engineer (Product) role based in Bengaluru, you'll own features end-to-end with support from senior engineers. The Bengaluru team focuses on product engineering, meaning everything you build is customer-facing and reaches customers within days rather than quarters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building scalable backend services, APIs, and AI-powered features using TypeScript/Node.js and Python on cloud platforms
- Developing end-to-end features from backend services to customer-facing interfaces
- Working on AI-powered workflows including prompt design, evaluation, and systems that make LLMs reliable in production
- Building integrations with CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and third-party communication tools
- Fixing real customer problems with short feedback loops between report and live deployment
- Writing comprehensive tests, adding monitoring, and owning shipped features post-launch
- Participating in on-call rotation and incident response
- Taking loosely defined problems and driving them to completion with minimal hand-holding
- Collaborating closely with senior engineers, Product, Design, and Customer Success teams
The role is hybrid based in Bengaluru with regular office presence expected. Some overlap with US business hours may be needed for client coordination.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, ideally full-stack, with at least 1 year in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment
- Strong programming skills in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, with backend development experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP and modern deployment practices
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and understanding of service-oriented architectures
- Comfort working with SQL databases at scale
- Track record of fast, high-quality execution
- Self-driven ability to unblock yourself and chase down context without needing work broken into small pieces
- Comfort with ambiguity and changing requirements in a fast-moving startup
- Curiosity about AI and LLMs—direct experience is a plus, appetite to learn is required
- Low ego, high energy, and bias toward shipping
Bonus qualifications: AI/ML or conversational AI experience, B2B SaaS or enterprise software background, previous startup experience, open source contributions, real-time systems or event-driven architecture experience, Docker/containerization familiarity.
