The Platform team is responsible for all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech APIs, and external integrations. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that power the entire product ecosystem. Key responsibilities include building and optimizing the public TTS API, internal services (Payment, Subscription, Auth, Consumption Tracking), and collaborating on B2B enterprise solutions. You'll work across the full backend landscape, enhancing performance and maintainability while aligning architecture with product strategy.
The ideal candidate has proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js (required), direct GCP experience with knowledge of AWS/Azure, and the ability to prioritize efficiently based on impact. Docker and Kubernetes experience is preferred. This is a key role suited for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about product decisions.
