The Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs that power the product ecosystem—including the public TTS API, internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop scalable backend APIs ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards
- Oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions, customizing integrations for enterprise clients
- Work cross-functionally with product, frontend, and design teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience
Required qualifications: proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js, hands-on GCP experience, and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Preferred: Docker containerization and Kubernetes deployment experience.
