The Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining all backend services: payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech APIs, and external integrations. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal systems for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience. You'll also work on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration for enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate has proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js (required), direct experience with Google Cloud Platform, and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers. Preferred qualifications include Docker containerization and Kubernetes deployment expertise.
