The Platform team is responsible for all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy.
Key responsibilities include designing scalable backend systems, enhancing API performance, working on B2B enterprise solutions with customization and integration needs, and ensuring systems meet business and scalability requirements. The role requires strong backend development skills in TypeScript/Node.js and direct experience with Google Cloud Platform. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with AWS, Azure, Docker, containerized deployments, and Kubernetes for high-availability applications.
