Grafana Labs is hiring a Software Engineer for the Platform Productivity squad, part of the Internal Engineering Platform team. This role focuses on helping internal engineers release software securely and measurably onto Grafana's infrastructure, which processes millions of metrics, logs, and traces per second for customers like Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
You'll own the development and maintenance of the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP), CI/CD platform management, build/release/deployment automation, and application configuration tooling. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions for artifact management, software automation, and working cross-functionally with application development and security teams to support their requirements.
The Platform Productivity squad sets its own roadmap, so you'll have input into prioritization, feature development, and sunsetting legacy systems. You'll be part of an on-call rotation supporting platform tooling in production. The team uses modern development practices including AI-assisted coding (company-funded tools like GitHub Copilot or similar), pragmatic testing, and rapid iteration.
