The Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining all backend services, including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech APIs, and external integrations. This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences.
You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability. You'll collaborate on B2B solutions focused on customization and integration for enterprise clients, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
Required experience includes backend development with TypeScript/Node.js and direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is expected. You should be efficient in ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact. Preferred qualifications include experience with Docker and containerized deployments, and proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
