The Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal services for payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability while ensuring systems meet business and scalability requirements.
Key responsibilities include collaborating on B2B solutions focused on customization and integration for enterprise clients, and working closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience. The role requires strong backend development skills in TypeScript/Node.js and direct experience with GCP. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of AWS or Azure, Docker and containerized deployments, and Kubernetes for high-availability applications.
