Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual

The Platform team owns all backend services: payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech APIs, and external integrations. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal services (Payment, Subscription, Auth, Consumption Tracking). You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy.
Key responsibilities include building scalable backend systems, working on B2B enterprise solutions with customization and integration needs, and ensuring APIs meet business and scalability requirements. The role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about product decisions and user experience.
Required skills: backend development in TypeScript/Node.js, hands-on GCP experience, and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers. Preferred: Docker, containerized deployments, and Kubernetes for high-availability applications.
