The Platform team is responsible for all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal systems for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy.
Key responsibilities include designing scalable backend systems, enhancing API performance, working on B2B solutions with customization for enterprise clients, and ensuring systems meet business and scalability requirements. The role requires TypeScript/Node.js expertise and direct experience with GCP; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is expected. Docker and Kubernetes experience is preferred.
