The Platform team is responsible for all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about product decisions and user experience.
You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability. You'll collaborate on B2B solutions focused on enterprise customization and integration, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
Required: proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js, direct experience with Google Cloud Platform, and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers. Preferred: Docker and containerized deployments, Kubernetes for high-availability applications.
