Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual

The Platform team builds and maintains all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions that delight users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs (public TTS API, Payment, Subscription, Auth, Consumption Tracking) meeting business and scalability requirements
- Oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions with focus on enterprise customization and integration
- Work cross-functionally to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience
Required qualifications:
- Proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Direct experience with GCP; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
- Efficiency in ideation and implementation with strong prioritization skills
Preferred:
- Docker and containerized deployment experience
- Kubernetes and high-availability application deployment proficiency
