Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual

The Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. This Software Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs that power the core product experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API, internal APIs for Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking
- Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience
Required qualifications:
- Proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
- Efficiency in ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes
