The Platform team is responsible for all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech APIs, and external integrations. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal systems for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy and user experience. You'll also work on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration for enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate has proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js (required), direct GCP experience with knowledge of AWS/Azure or other cloud providers, and the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
