Salary: USD 30,000 - 100,000 / annual

The Platform team is responsible for all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including the public TTS API and internal systems for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy. Key responsibilities include building scalable backend infrastructure, enhancing API performance, working on B2B solutions for enterprise clients, and ensuring systems meet business and scalability requirements. The role requires strong backend development skills in TypeScript/Node.js, direct experience with GCP, and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
