Zone & Company is an ERP-native AI platform for financial operations, purpose-built for Oracle NetSuite. The company serves over 4,500 customers worldwide, automating financial workflows across Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Treasury, Payroll Management, and Record-to-Report processes.
As a Software Engineer, you will build and enhance SuiteApps (ZoneCapture and ZoneApprovals) that serve thousands of businesses. You'll work on a small, focused engineering team where your contributions have significant impact on both product and company direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and scaling ZoneApprovals and ZoneCapture using modern web development technologies
- Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code leveraging the company's proprietary UI dev kit and SDK built on NetSuite with TypeScript, linting, and automated testing
- Designing and executing test cases, writing unit tests, and debugging existing functionality
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, QA, and UX teams to define and refine features
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to a learning-focused culture
- Documenting systems and architecture while staying current with new tools and techniques
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, ideally in SaaS
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite SuiteCloud development with SuiteScript and TypeScript
- Full-stack skill set with emphasis on modern UI development and backend capabilities
- Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and GenAI tooling
- Solid understanding of web services (REST, SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS and web development fundamentals
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive, curious approach to learning
