Moody's Ratings Technology team is hiring a Software Engineer (.NET Developer) to design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, Angular, and Microsoft technologies. You'll have 3-5 years of hands-on software development experience and strong proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing applications using ASP.NET Core and Angular, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement features and enhancements, participating in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment, performing code reviews to ensure quality standards, troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications, and documenting development activities.
You should have demonstrated expertise in software design patterns (MVC), strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks. The role emphasizes AI proficiency—you'll need hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows, implement AI-powered solutions to business challenges, and demonstrate awareness of AI risk management and responsible AI practices.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You'll stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices while working with a team that delivers innovative, scalable solutions supporting critical business functions across Moody's global organization.
