Glean is a Work AI platform that helps enterprises work smarter with AI through intelligent search, an AI assistant, and scalable AI agents. The company has evolved from enterprise search into a full-scale Work AI ecosystem with 100+ SaaS connectors, flexible LLM choice, and robust APIs. Glean is recognized by Fast Company (Top 10 Most Innovative Companies 2025), CNBC's Disruptor 50, Bloomberg's AI Startups to Watch, Forbes AI 50, and Gartner's Tech Innovators in Agentic AI. With 1,000+ employees across 25+ countries and customers in 50+ industries, Glean is building the superintelligent enterprise. You will lead the development of fully native iOS and Android applications, replacing current web-wrapped apps with native Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose implementations. You will be responsible for setting strong technical foundations for these new codebases and shipping a refined, polished mobile experience powered by AI. Key responsibilities include: **Build the Apps:** Ship native iOS and Android apps in Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose. Deliver user-facing features end-to-end including search, AI assistant, agents, notifications, and OS integrations (widgets, App Intents, share extensions, live voice modes). Build experiences that feel native on each platform following Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design, with strong accessibility, performance, and offline behavior. Define mobile architecture including module boundaries, networking, persistence, concurrency, observability, and performance budgets. **Build the Infrastructure:** Own mobile CI/CD including automated builds, tests, code signing, TestFlight and Play Store deployment, phased rollouts, and release health monitoring. Set up an AI-native development workflow with an agent-friendly repo, automated test generation, AI-assisted review, and tooling that enables coding agents to build, run, and verify mobile changes. **Own Enterprise Readiness:** Build, sign, and ship enterprise app variants with custom configuration and distribution. Own mobile authentication end-to-end including OAuth 2.0/PKCE, OIDC/SAML SSO, secure token and session handling, and identity-provider policies (conditional access, device trust). Ensure apps work in managed and BYOD environments (MDM, MAM, managed app configuration, app protection policies, Android Enterprise work profiles). Design admin-controlled data protection (downloads, sharing, copy/paste, screenshots) with Security and Admin teams. Emit reliable audit events for customer security tooling. Represent mobile in enterprise security reviews and validate behavior on real managed and unmanaged devices. **Requirements:** - 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years shipping production mobile apps on both iOS and Android - Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin with working knowledge of the other; willingness to develop cross-platform fluency - Experience owning mobile CI/CD pipelines and release infrastructure (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions, Gradle, code signing, staged rollouts) - Daily use of AI coding tools to ship faster without lowering quality; opinions on structuring codebases and toolchains for agent effectiveness - Experience with mobile auth: OAuth 2.0/PKCE, OIDC/SAML, MSAL, ASWebAuthenticationSession / Custom Tabs, Keychain and Android Keystore - Experience shipping OS integrations (widgets, App Intents / Shortcuts, extensions, background work) on at least one platform - Startup mindset: comfortable owning problems end-to-end from infrastructure to pixels in ambiguous environments - Nice to have: experience migrating hybrid or cross-platform apps to native; shipping in MDM/MAM-managed enterprise environments
