Eight Sleep is hiring a Software Engineer to drive growth on eightsleep.com, the storefront for their sleep fitness hardware and software platform. You'll work closely with growth, marketing, and design teams to ship landing pages, run high-volume A/B tests, and optimize conversion funnels for a global, high-traffic audience.
Key responsibilities include building marketing and campaign pages using React and Next.js; designing and executing end-to-end A/B tests with proper statistical rigor; creating scalable, templatized systems for efficient page launches; maintaining and extending the analytics stack (Amplitude, GA4, Google Tag Manager); optimizing every step of the conversion funnel; owning SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals; and building localized experiences across regions and languages.
You'll need 5+ years of front-end web development experience, ideally in growth, marketing, or ecommerce. Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript is essential. You should be comfortable with product analytics (funnels, cohorts, event tracking), GA4, and GTM. Attention to detail, web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and data privacy awareness are critical. The role values shipping velocity, iterative improvement, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.
Bonus skills include SEO/AEO expertise, internationalization/localization, server-side conversion tracking (CAPI), Tailwind CSS, design-system component work, headless CMS experience, and media optimization.
