Join The Stepstone Group's commercial product technology team as a Software Engineer working on features for internal and external applications. You'll be part of a scrum team collaborating with product managers, QA engineers, scrum masters, and other engineering teams to deliver product enhancements that reshape the global labour market.
Key responsibilities include developing new features in Java/Spring Boot and React applications, pair programming with teammates, conducting code reviews, and deploying to production via CI/CD pipelines. You'll provide technical consulting to users and product management, perform cross-testing to ensure quality, and handle technical issues reported by users. The role emphasizes collaboration, code quality, and continuous improvement through agile practices.
Required technical skills: Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Git/BitBucket, Maven, AWS services (including Terraform, Docker, ECS), and monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana, DataDog). Experience with agile methodologies and pair programming is essential.
