As a Full Stack Engineer on the Lending team, you will lead technical design and implementation for projects powering the lending platform at scale, reaching millions of customers. You'll set architectural standards and ensure best practices in code quality, performance, and scalability across the lending product suite.
Key responsibilities include leading technical design and implementation for lending platform projects; setting architectural standards and best practices for code quality, performance, and scalability; partnering closely with product, design, and operations teams to shape lending product strategy; overseeing system optimization for reliability, security, and scalability; and owning technical decision-making while balancing rapid delivery with sustainable solutions.
You bring 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or data-intensive services. You have solid hands-on full-stack engineering skills with proficiency in backend architecture and modern frontend frameworks. Experience designing or working on reliable, secure, and high-performance systems—ideally in payments, lending, or regulated consumer finance—is valued. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and bring initiative and a growth mindset to the team.
The tech stack includes Node and TypeScript on the server with NestJS framework in a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. Client-side development uses React Native for iOS, Android, and web platforms. The team embraces AI-assisted development with Claude Code or Cursor. Exact stack experience is not required; familiarity with modern software engineering practices enables quick ramp-up.
