Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers including Facebook, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Invoicing & Collections team is a critical operational and technical function responsible for generating timely, accurate invoices, managing customer payment processes, and ensuring compliance across multiple markets.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end monthly invoice generation cycle for Adyen's customers, managing processes related to invoice distribution, deductions, and dunning procedures. You'll work on maintaining and evolving the existing large-scale invoice generation engine while designing and building next-generation platform capabilities. The role requires engineering solutions that balance customer flexibility with strict regulatory and tax compliance across different markets of operation.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Frontend, and Product to innovate in a complex, regulated domain with direct customer impact. The position involves working with distributed systems at scale, leveraging Java, REST APIs, webhooks, and PostgreSQL. You'll be expected to adopt an experimental mindset, launch fast, iterate based on feedback, and involve team members in decision-making to incorporate diverse perspectives.
