Lynx Financial Crime Tech is an AI-powered software company specializing in fraud detection and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions. The company develops advanced technologies for real-time financial crime prevention, serving global financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprises. As a Software Engineer (Java), you will participate in building and maintaining a fraud orchestration platform designed for high-performance distributed environments. You'll be part of a backend team developing reactive microservices using Java 21+, Spring Boot, WebFlux, and Netty, contributing to modular, scalable components that integrate with other fraud detection systems. Key responsibilities include: - Analyzing requirements and participating in solution design - Designing, developing, and evolving backend microservices in Java 21+ and Spring Boot - Working with reactive architectures using Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, and Netty - Designing and implementing REST API integrations with various systems - Implementing OAuth-based authentication and authorization mechanisms - Collaborating on integrations with technologies such as S3, SQS, SFTP, Batch, Kafka, MQ, REST, Sockets, and JSON formats Required qualifications: - 2+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Spring Boot - Fluent English (B2 level minimum) - Computer Science or Software Engineering degree (or equivalent professional experience) Desired technical skills include Java and Spring Boot best practices, REST API design, Spring WebFlux/Project Reactor/Netty, microservices architecture, concurrent and asynchronous programming, Docker/Kubernetes, testing practices (unit, integration, performance), observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting), Git workflows, cloud environments, and CI/CD tools.
