As a Software Engineer IV on the Digital Banking team, you will design and build mobile-first features that improve customer experience, owning services end-to-end. You'll collaborate closely with product managers and designers to create intuitive, impactful solutions for highly transactional banking systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implement features and deliver production-ready code using React Native, Swift/Kotlin, and Spring Boot
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software solutions in an agile environment
- Create technical documentation, system diagrams, and debugging reports
- Conduct performance optimizations and monitor key metrics
- Participate in agile planning by providing technical insights and feasibility analysis
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Conduct peer code reviews and mentor team members
- Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks
- Monitor delivery metrics and identify improvements to enhance efficiency
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years in IT industry with 3+ years building and delivering React Native apps
- 2+ years iOS/Android development experience
- 3+ years Spring Boot application development
- Expert-level mobile software development with React Native, Swift/Kotlin, Objective C
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Java
- Experience with Redux, Expo, Jest, REST APIs, XML, JSON
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Unit testing and test-driven development experience
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications include SAFe frameworks, CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub CI), secure solution design, multithreading, automated testing tools, DevOps/CI/CD practices, and exposure to AI IDEs like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
