Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently #18 in App Store productivity category) and drive new product initiatives.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in roadmap discussions. You'll maintain and enhance the complex app architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to shape product direction.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping from inception to traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at high velocity, and know how to balance speed with thoughtful decision-making. The role requires deep Swift and SwiftUI expertise, multithreading experience, CI/CD infrastructure knowledge, Fastlane proficiency, SOLID principles mastery, and Git fluency.
