With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app, currently ranked #18 in the App Store's productivity category.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, and work within a dedicated product team to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the complex app architecture while participating in strategic product discussions. The position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a product that transforms lives for people with learning differences like dyslexia, ADD, low vision, and autism.
You should have a track record of scaling products to large user bases, experience taking products from inception to traction, and strong product thinking skills. Technical expertise required includes Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, works at high velocity, and thrives in fast-paced startup environments with strong communication skills and a focus on execution.
