You will join a 100% distributed, ~200-person team (no physical office) composed of engineers from Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Stanford PhD programs, and founders of high-growth startups like Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt.
In this role, you will:
- Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform
- Ship production code actively for the Speechify iOS app
- Work within a dedicated product team on core features
- Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap
- Maintain and enhance the complex app architecture
You should have:
- Proven experience building products that scaled to large user bases
- Track record shipping products from inception through traction, with engineering ownership
- Deep customer obsession and commitment to excellent user experience
- Product thinking: ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and guide design/strategy
- Speed and focus: ability to work quickly, prioritize ruthlessly, and stay heads-down in a fast-paced remote environment
- Technical expertise: Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, Git workflows
