Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support its #18 productivity app in the App Store.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to drive the product direction.
You should have a track record of building products from inception to scale, with experience supporting large user bases. Product thinking is essential—you'll make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and help guide the team toward the right direction. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and know how to balance speed with focus in an asynchronous, remote setting.
Technical requirements include strong Swift and SwiftUI expertise, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure experience, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git proficiency. You're customer-obsessed, passionate about user experience, and driven by the mission to remove reading as a barrier to learning.
