Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setup, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app on the App Store) and drive new product initiatives.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions, actively ship production code for the iOS app, work within a dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintain the complex app architecture. You'll have the opportunity to think strategically, influence product direction, and work in a flat organization where technical excellence and consistent delivery create leadership opportunities.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and know how to balance focus in a high-growth remote environment. Technical requirements include Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git expertise.
