With ~200 employees distributed globally and no physical office, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app, currently ranked #18 in the App Store productivity category.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app while leading key engineering and product decisions. You'll work within a dedicated product team, participate in roadmap discussions, and maintain the app's complex architecture. The position offers significant influence over product direction and the opportunity to shape the company's technical strategy in a flat organizational structure where technical excellence and results drive advancement.
You should have a track record of shipping products from inception to scale, with experience supporting large user bases. Strong product thinking is essential—you'll collaborate with designers and internal teams to guide product evolution. You must be comfortable working quickly in a high-growth startup environment, knowing when to ship fast and when to invest in quality. Technical expertise in Swift and SwiftUI is required, along with experience in multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
