Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support its #18 productivity app in the App Store.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app, actively ship production code, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to drive the product forward.
You should have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking skills. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, works at speed, and knows how to balance focus in a fast-paced, remote environment. Technical requirements include proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
