Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setup, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app on the App Store) and drive new product initiatives.
In this role, you'll lead key engineering and product decisions, actively ship production code for the iOS app, work within a dedicated product team, participate in roadmap discussions, and maintain the complex app architecture. You'll have the opportunity to shape the product direction and make strategic decisions about feature prioritization and technical direction.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at high velocity, and know how to balance shipping quickly with technical quality. Required technical skills include Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
