Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app in the App Store) and develop new features aligned with the company's mission to make reading never a barrier to learning.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to drive product direction.
You should have a track record of shipping products from inception to scale, experience building for large user bases, and strong product thinking. Technical expertise required includes Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, works at speed, maintains focus in a fast-paced remote environment, and communicates clearly.
