With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently ranked #18 in the App Store productivity category) and develop new features aligned with the company's mission to remove reading as a barrier to learning.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in roadmap discussions. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while thinking strategically about user experience and product evolution. The ideal candidate has experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping from inception through traction, and strong product thinking skills. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and thrive in a high-growth, asynchronous remote environment.
Required technical skills include Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git. You should demonstrate excellent communication, strong work ethic, and a passion for winning.
