Salary: USD 30,000 - 80,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. The iOS app is currently ranked #18 in the App Store productivity category.
You will join a 100% distributed team of ~200 people globally, including engineers from Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Stanford PhD researchers, and founders. The company has no physical office.
In this role, you will:
- Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform
- Ship production code actively for the Speechify iOS app
- Work within a dedicated product team on core features
- Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap
- Maintain and enhance the complex app architecture
You should have:
- Experience building products that scaled to large user bases
- A track record shipping products from inception through traction
- Strong product thinking and ability to guide design decisions
- Customer obsession and focus on user experience
- Speed and focus in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Technical expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git
