Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support growth of its iOS app, currently ranked #18 in the App Store productivity category and winner of Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to drive product direction.
The ideal candidate has experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking skills. You should be customer-obsessed, work with speed and focus, and have deep technical expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
